For over 50 years, the Bryant Family has served the residents of the Androscoggin Valley with compassion and care during life’s most difficult moments. As our relationships with families grew, so did their trust in us—not only to guide them through funeral services, but also to help honor their loved ones through permanent memorials. In response to these heartfelt requests, we proudly expanded into a full-service monument company.
In 2025, we acquired Nicoletti Memorials—founded in 1963 by Roland Nicoletti and carried on through two generations of the Nicoletti and Piper families. By combining operations, we are now able to serve families throughout the North Country under one name: North Country Monuments & Memorials.
We are committed to carrying forward this legacy as a family-owned business, rather than as part of a large corporate or regional provider. Our team offers a complete range of services, including custom monuments and markers, granite benches, civic memorials, granite signage, as well as professional cleaning and some repair.
We believe a thoughtfully crafted memorial provides a lasting place for remembrance and healing. That is why we offer 100% American-made, custom-designed granite memorials—from traditional headstones to modern designs—ensuring each tribute is meaningful, personal, and built to endure for generations. With a focus on quality, integrity, and detail, we stand behind our work and guarantee your memorial will be exactly as envisioned.
Our Services
Monuments & Benches: Granite memorials provide a lasting tribute to those who have gone before us. As the preferred choice for durability and beauty—especially here in the Granite State—granite offers timeless elegance and strength. Every order is fully customized, with a wide range of colors, sizes, and design options available to create a truly personal memorial.
Granite & Veterans Markers: With cemetery regulations becoming increasingly specific—and with cremation now a popular choice—many families find themselves limited in the type of memorials they can select. Granite markers offer an excellent, economical solution for honoring a loved one. Durable, dignified, and fully customizable, they provide a timeless tribute that complies with most cemetery guidelines. For Veterans, we will file the proper paperwork with the Veterans Administration for those who are eligible. We can also mount and set the markers (where allowed) at no additional cost to the families we serve.
Monument Cleaning: Memorials can accumulate dirt, moss, and debris from exposure to the elements. Occasional professional cleaning helps preserve the stone’s appearance, ensuring inscriptions remain clear and the memorial maintains its dignity. Regular care provides an optimal presentation for families and visitors honoring their loved ones.
Cemetery Lettering / Engraving: Adding lettering to an existing memorial is a precise and delicate process—with no room for error. That’s why we partner with a trusted, multi-generation granite expert from Vermont to perform all on-site engraving. Known for meticulous attention to detail, their craftsmanship ensures that every addition is seamlessly matched.
Monument Repair: Over time, many older monuments in cemeteries may lean, fall, or show signs of wear and damage. We offer repair and restoration services to return these memorials to a respectful and stable condition. Please contact us to discuss the specific needs of your project.
Civil Projects: Granite is an ideal material for war memorials, civic signs, and other public tribute projects due to its durability and timeless beauty. We proudly partner with municipalities, organizations, and private individuals to design and create meaningful memorials that stand the test of time. Contact our team today to begin your project—we’re here to help every step of the way.
Pricing
Each monument and marker is a custom order. Cost depends on size, the type of granite or other material, the amount and complexity of engraving, and the location of installation. Other factors also impact costs, such as a concrete foundation to support any upright memorials (a requirement of most cemeteries). Please reach out to us, and we would be glad to give you a rough estimate based on the type of stone you are looking for.
Service Area
We are proud to serve the communities of Berlin, Gorham, Milan, Dummer, Errol, Randolph, Shelburne, and Wentworth Location in New Hampshire, as well as Magalloway, Gilead, and West Bethel in Maine.
On occasion, we are asked to assist families in outlying communities. While this is not always possible, we do our best to accommodate such requests whenever we can. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
