Yolande J. Tremblay

Merrimack, NH

Mrs. Yolande J. Tremblay, 96, of Merrimack and formerly of Berlin, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a period of failing health.  She was born in Berlin on October 7, 1927 the daughter of the late Adelard and Marie-Anne (Morin) Veilleux. Yolande attended Catholic schools. For many years, Yolande was a member of the Ladies of L’Ange Guardien and enjoyed serving her community. Yolande enjoyed housework and took great pride in her home. She loved to bake and was always looking for new recipes. She looked forward to visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her great joy. In her later years, her favorite pastimes were playing word games and using her Kindle.

She is survived by her three daughters: Jeannette Roslie and husband Terry of Port St. Lucie, FL, Doris Burns and husband Dave of Bedford, NH and Louise LaCourse and husband Ken of Northfield, NH; five grandchildren: Lori Rowell of Concord and husband Kevin, Amy Hollingworth of Bedford and husband Glen, Jake Gingras of Salem and wife Alyson, Andy Burns of Oviedo, FL and wife Chelsey and Emily Roberge of Manchester and husband Liam; eight great grandchildren: Natalee and Tanner Rowell, Ella Hollingworth, Zoe and Payton Gingras, Bryce and Sydney Burns and Emory Roberge; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Emile Tremblay who died in 2020 and her great granddaughter Brooklyn Roberge who died in 2023.  She was also predeceased by eleven siblings: Simone Parent, Lawrence Veilleux, Clovis Veilleux, Dot Cloutier, Madeline Pomerleau, Judith Meunier, Camille Veilleux, Pauline Veilleux, Mabel Lambert, Rita Veilleux, and Maurice Veilleux.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Berlin, NH with interment at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen and will be announced at a later date.  There will be no calling hours.  Those who wish may make donations in her memory to Good Shepherd Parish or Holy Family Parish, 151 Emery Street, Berlin, NH 03570.  

The family wishes to thank Rose Haven assisted living facility and Community Hospice House in Merrimack for their loving and compassionate care.
