Viola A. Roy

Viola A. Roy, 92, of Berlin, passed away at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin on December 1, 2019. She was born in Berlin on April 1, 1927 the daughter of the late Dominic and Nicolina (Dalphonse) Torro, and was a lifelong resident. For many years she worked in the office for Converse Rubber Co. Viola was a member of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin.



Members of the family include her son Gary P. Roy of West Palm Beach, FL; sisters Mary Savchick of Berlin and Doris Torro of Watertown, MA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence G. Roy in 1999, brothers Albert Torro and Fio Torro, and sisters Theresa Landry and Catherine Morin.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in St. Kieran Cemetery. In accordance with Viola’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin and Gorham, NH.
