Verne C. Whitehouse

Verne C. Whitehouse, 61, of Gorham, New Hampshire passed away on July 15, 2023 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH. He was born in Berlin, NH on October 31, 1961 the son of the late Clifford H. and Marjorie E. (Whiting) Whitehouse. He lived most of his life in Vermont and then for many years in New Hampshire. Verne had been employed for Karl Johnson Trucking in Lyndonville, VT. He very much enjoyed fishing, he liked bon fires and fire works and time spent with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed trucking, anything automotive and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. His two favorite holidays were Halloween, when he would dress up and scare the kids, and Christmas, when he would dress up as Santa and spread Christmas cheer to all the kids.

Members of the family include his significant other Nicole Hawkins of Gorham, NH; two children Ethan Cole-Whitehouse of West Burke, VT and Nakisha Bourassa of Springfield, MA; a step daughter Yvette Roy of Gorham, NH; six grandchildren; his brother Kenneth Whitehouse and wife Sue of Gorham, NH; a niece Angel King and her husband Richard; and a nephew Gage King. Verne was predeceased by his parents and a stepson Eric Roy.
