Theresa C (Hamel) Guerin

Theresa C (Hamel) Guerin passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, November 16, 2017. She was 90 years old.

Born in Berlin on October 5, 1927, she was the daughter of Edmond and Eva (Bergeron) Hamel. She spent her life here in Berlin. On January 26, 1956 she married Thomas Guerin.

In the earlier years she worked at Pauls Laundry and at Converse Rubber Shoe Company. She was a member of the VFW Womens Auxiliary.

Theresa was an avid shopper and could always be spotted at Wal-Mart; she had a great sense of humor and had a very generous spirit. She enjoyed knitting, dancing, and listening to country music. She most enjoyed spending time camping over the past 50 years.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by husband Thomas; and a brother Wilfred Hamel.

She leaves behind her son Ronald Guerin and wife Elizabeth "Bette"; a daughter Jean (Lapointe) Eafrati and husband Butch; a sister Florence (Hamel) Shorty and husband Don; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at Holy Family Cemetery and celebration of life at a later date next spring.
