Terry W. Rhoderick

Terry W. Rhoderick, 67, of Gorham, NH, passed away on Saturday July 1, 2023 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He was born in Damascus, MD on May 26, 1956 and was the son of Horace and Eunice (Emswallow) Rhoderick. Terry owned and operated the Gulf Station in Gorham for several years before becoming the manager of the propane department for CN Brown. He then managed the propane department for Munces Superior for many years. Terry coached basketball, served on the Town of Gorham Budget Committee and had served as an Auxiliary Police Officer for the Town of Gorham. He built Moose Meadows Mini Golf in 1994, which, by far, was his passion. He loved the kids who came to play and would often stay open til 1 AM so they had a safe place to hang out. On Terry’s off time, he enjoyed nothing more than rooting on his Green Bay Packers and watching NCIS over and over again. Terry had a quirky sense of humor and loved teasing and making people wonder if he was serious or joking. He loved riding his motorcycle, shirtless, down Main Street just to get people to look and also riding his lawnmower through the bank drive through or down over the bank and into the river at Moose Meadows. Most of all, he loved his family and his beloved pups, Maggie May and Remi Ray. He was extremely proud of his grandchildren, three of whom are serving in the military. Sometimes, Terry showed a tough exterior, but inside, he had a heart of gold. He will be sorely missed and he was truly one of a kind-never to be duplicated.

Family includes his wife of 43 years, Christine (Barnett) Rhoderick of Gorham, NH; his children Heather Malia and Josh Rhoderick of Gorham, NH; his grandchildren SPC Caitlyn Malia of TX, LCpl Chase Malia of NC, LCpl Jacob Rhoderick of SC and Alexandra and Rylie Rhoderick of RI; his siblings Linda Riley of MD, Bebe Johnson of MD, Brenda Rhoderick of MD and Tommy Rhoderick of MD; nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday July 9, 2023 at 1PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham, NH. Interment will follow in the Evans Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Online guestbook at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
