Ted A. Pelletier, 97, of Dummer, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the New Hampshire Veterans' Home, 139 Winter Street, Tilton, NH after a period of failing health. He was born in Nashua, NH the son of the late Amedee J. and Nelida (Hebert) Pelletier. Ted served in the United States Marine Corps from 1942-1944. He was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds suffered in action in the Pacific Theatre and was medically discharged. After his discharge from the service, he entered the engineering field and was self-employed for many years. Ted was a long-time member of the Richard Demers Marine Corps League.
Members of the family include his sons Michael Pelletier and wife Marie of Campton, Peter Pelletier and wife Sandy of Berlin, Jacques Pelletier and wife Crystal of Stark; his daughters Suzanne Sullivan of Jaffrey and Victoria Caron and husband David of N. Stratford; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister Muriel Briand of Melbourne, FL; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline Pelletier and a son-in-law J. Ken Sullivan.
Interment will take place privately at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant & Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, Berlin, NH. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in Ted’s memory to the NH Veterans Home Resident Benefit Fund, 139 Winter Street, Tilton, NH 03276.
