Sue-Lynn Croteau, 53, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2026, at Mineral Springs Nursing Home in North Conway, after a brief period of illness. She was born on November 22, 1972 and was the daughter of the late Lucien and Jeanne (Gaulin) Croteau.

Sue-Lynn spent most of her life in Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School class of 1991. She spent several years working at Burger King, McDonald’s, and Pizza Hut in Gorham, and later for Lowes. One of Sue-Lynn’s favorite pastimes was talking to her dad on the phone about her favorite football team, the New England Patriots. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, and collecting the many hats that she owned. She never met a cat or a dog she didn’t love.

Sue-Lynn leaves behind her uncle Bob Gagne, who often gave Lucien rides to visit Sue-Lynn after she moved to Meredith, and spent time with her often. She also leaves behind a niece Kathleen Mills of Michigan, nephews Cameron Morin of Canada and Kevin Croteau of Florida, her sister-in-law, Leanne Davis Croteau of Tennessee, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Sue-Lynn is predeceased by her parents Lucien and Jeanne, her beloved brother Marc, and an infant brother Joseph.

The family would like to thank Sue-Lynn’s best friend and caregiver, Melissa Stanley, and her husband Darrell, who Sue-Lynn loved like family. Your kindness and love for her was obvious and very much appreciated.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026 at 1 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memories and condolences may be shared online at bryantcares.com
