Stewart W. Shaw

Stewart W. Shaw, 73, of 12 Cascade Flats, Gorham, NH passed away on Friday evening Nov. 22, 2013 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. He was born in Springfield, MA on May 6, 1940 the son of Glenn and Dorothy (Whiting) Shaw and was raised in Pelham, MA and attended school there. He had also lived in Spofford, NH and came to the Berlin-Gorham area in 1990. Stewart was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he did radio communications work. He was self employed as the owner of Shaw Communications & N.C. Paging Limited. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Androscoggin Valley Amateur Radio Club and the Vet to Vet Organization. Members of the family include his wife Louise A. (Fleury) Shaw of Gorham, NH; two sons Matthew Shaw and his wife Jamie of Sullivan, NH and Stewart Andrew Shaw of Keene, NH; Three grandchildren Kyrie, Sydney and Skylier; his mother Dorothy (Whiting) Shaw of Concord, NH; a sister Eudora (Dorie) Shaw of Newbury, NH; a brother Stephen Shaw of Grier, SC; two nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Glenn Shaw and a nephew Scott Shaw. SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held on Saturday afternoon Nov. 30, 2013 at 3:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, corner of Norway and Seventh Streets, Berlin, NH. Visitation will be held on Saturday in the fellowship hall at St. Paul Lutheran Church from 2 to 3 PM, prior to the service.
