Ruth Putnam

Ruth L. Putnam, 72, of Berlin, NH passed away on Monday January 4, 2015 at her home. She was born in Tewksbury, MA on July 3, 1943 the daughter of William and Edna (Freeze) Wright and was raised in Newton, MA. She stayed in the Boston area until 20 years ago when she moved to North Conway where she had been a columnist with the Conway Daily Sun for 5 years. Ruth has resided with her son, John, in Berlin for the past year. Family includes her sons John Putnam of Berlin, NH, Guy Putnam of Harts Location, NH, William Putnam of Conway, NH, Robert Putnam, Jr. of Glendale, CA and Mark Putnam of Bartlett, NH; daughter Jennifer Putnam of Intervale, NH; many grandchildren and also some great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, on Friday January 8, 2015 from 1 to 3 PM. Graveside services with interment will be held at the Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham, MA at a later date.
