Russell King

Russell King passed away on May 11, 2023 at his home in Berlin, NH, surrounded by family members. He was the son of the late Edward and Lydia (Bedard) King. Russell was born on November 15, 1931. Upon his graduation, he enlisted in the US Army where he became a police sharpshooter in the rifle and pistol categories. Russell married Therese L. Roy and they raised 4 children. He was employed by Brown Company and James River Corp as a pipefitter. Russell was a member of the F.O.E. 1464 and the American Legion Post #36 and enjoyed hunting, fishing and doing crossword puzzles throughout his life with his brother-in-law Archie “Skip” Landry.

Russell is survived by his son Brian King; his daughters Sandra King and Brenda Stewart; his daughter-in-law Julie King; his sister Marie Landry and husband Archie; his brother Ronald King; his sister-in-law Florence Roy; his grandchildren David Shotts, Dana Westover, Kendra Patchett, Brock King, Derrah King, Caitlyn Shotts, Dylan King, Bryar King, Eleni and Meagan King; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Therese L. (Roy) King, his son Wayne, his grandson Kevin, his brother-in-law Robert “Sonny” King, his sisters Ramona Goulet, Claire Paine, Rita Lyons Savage and Carol Erickson Marcil.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 17, 2023 at 1 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will be the St. Kieran Cemetery.
