TSGT USAF Retired Ronald M. Couture, 78, of Berlin, passed away on Tuesday September 22, 2026 at his home. He was born in Berlin on April 29, 1948 and graduated from Berlin High School in 1967. One month after his graduation, he entered the United States Air Force, where he served for 20 years and 2 months, returning to Berlin on August 1, 1987.After returning home Ronald attended New Hampshire Technical College in 1990 graduating with an Associate’s degree. He decided to continue his education and went to the College of Life Long Learning graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree. Ronald was member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd and 4th Degree and was a past Grand Knight. He was a member of the D.A.V., the Vietnam Vets of America, the Air Force Sergeants Association and Holy Family Parish.

Family includes his wife Joan (Croteau) Couture of 40 years of Berlin, NH; his daughter Sharleane Bailey and husband Dana of Lancaster, NH and grandson Captain Jason Farris and his wife Andrea, US Army Reserves, of Spring, TX. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul Couture.

The family would like to thank North Country Home Health & Hospice along with AV Home Care for their exceptional care and professionalism in their time caring for Ronald.

Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, September 30th, at 1:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Berlin. There will be no calling hours.
