Romeo J. Godin

Romeo J. Godin, 94, of Berlin, NH, passed away on Wednesday November 15, 2023 at his home. He was born in Berlin on June 10, 1929 the son of August and Josephine (Landry) Godin and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Notre Dame High School with the Class of 1949 and was a US Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War. Romeo had been employed by Coca Cola for 42 years, retiring as a Regional Manager. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, the Corporal Richard Demers Marine Corps League, a former member of the Berlin Kiwanis Club, a Life Member of the F. O. E., a Life Member of the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW, a member of the Ryan-Scammon Post #36 American Legion and the Knights of Columbus 2^nd Degree.

Family includes his wife of 63 years Therese (Maurais) Godin of Berlin, NH; sons Paul Godin and wife Kathy of Berlin, NH, Ronald Godin of Berlin, NH and Roger Godin of Berlin, NH; grandsons Eric Godin and Curtis Godin and wife Katlyn; many nieces, nephews and cousins and a special friend Robert Berard of Berlin, NH. He was predeceased by brothers Gerard, Roger, Albert, Alex and Rene.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 10AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Tuesday from 8:30-9:30 AM, prior to the Mass.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Androscoggin River Athletes Special Olympics Program, c/o: Pam Couture, 212 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH 03570.
