Rodney A. Goodrum, 57, of Upton, ME, passed away on August 10, 2026 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident in Newry, ME. He was born in Berlin on October 10, 1968 the son of Horace M. Goodrum, II and Patricia L. (Carter) Goodrum and lived in Berlin until he was 6. He graduated from Nashua High School in 1986 then moved to Upton, Maine, where he has since resided. Rodney had been employed by Ideal Auto Parts in Colebrook, NH for 25 years. Prior to that, he was employed by his father at Goodrum’s Gym Service. Rodney was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed motorcycling, boating, hunting and entertaining. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and sitting around a campfire telling jokes. He was a very loyal person to his family and friends.

Family includes his father Horace M. Goodrum, II of Upton, ME; siblings Stacey Gaudet and husband Norman of Milford, NH, Horace Goodrum, III of Upton, ME and Steven Goodrum and fiancée Patti Shannon of Berlin, NH: several aunts, uncles, nephews, great-nephews, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia (Carter) Goodrum, his paternal grandmother Mae Goodrum and his maternal grandmother Winifred Gallant.
