Robert “Bob” H. Morrissette, 85, of Berlin, New Hampshire, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, in South Carolina surrounded by his family after a brief illness. Bob was born in Berlin on Aug. 3, 1940, and was the son of the late Sylva and Isola (Lacasse) Morrissette and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School class of 1958. He graduated from Concord Commercial College in 1960. He was a lifelong resident of the area, spent his career in accounting and was an IRS-recognized Enrolled Agent. He was knighted to the Order of the Holy Sepulchre at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston in the mid-1980s. He also volunteered in many roles for St. Joseph's Church and served as Ward 1 moderator in Berlin for numerous years.
Bob is survived by his wife Cecile A. (Savard) Morrissette of Berlin; his daughters Lise Fredette and husband John of Manchester, and Lucie Kinney and husband Stephen of Shelburne; his grandchildren Renee Greenspan (Corey) of Manchester, Marc Fredette (Katie) of Manchester, Sarah Pearson (Matthew) of Concord, and Luke Kinney (Sarah) of Rochester; his great-grandchildren Skyler, Lianna, Jamie and Riley Greenspan and David and Elliot Pearson; his older brother Lawrence Morrissette (Sylvie) of Pasadena, Calif., and his twin brother Albert Morrissette (Marie) of Berlin; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Paulette (Fournier) Morrissette.
He is also survived by his step-children Diane Bunnell, Bruce Bunnell (Nicole), Michael Bunnell (Camilla) and Donna Hanley (Michael); step-grandchildren Kelly, Katie, Shawn, Krystal, Tessa, Hannah, Kyler and Shayna; and step-great-grandchildren Peter, Orivious, Ella, and Gwendolyn. He was predeceased by step-grandsons Ian, Nathaniel, Christopher and step-great-grandson Samuel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St., Berlin, with interment following at St. Anne Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, Feb. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin.
