Robert L Jodrie

GORHAM----- Robert Larry Jodrie, 94, passed away on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at his home.

Robert was born on January 3rd, 1932 in West Milan. He was the son of the late Arthur and Carma (Clook) Jodrie.

Robert grew up and spent most of his life in the Berlin and Gorham area. He attended area schools graduating from Berlin High School the class of 1949. He worked as both a construction supervisor and highway foreman for the state of New Hampshire for 22 years. Prior to working for the state Robert worked for the Brown Company for 10 years. Robert was the recreation commissioner for the town of Gorham and also coach for Little League. He also served as police Chief in Milan as well as a member of the Milan Fire Department. Robert and Marjorie spent 30 years wintering in Wildwood Florida. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, and golfing.

Robert is survived by his wife of 74 years Marjorie (Young) Jodrie of Gorham, son Larry Jodrie and his wife Mary Clare of Frederick, MD, daughter Gail Sinibaldi and husband Gary of Gorham, grandchildren; Christine Robinson and her husband Peter of Clarksburg, MD, Sean Jodrie and his wife Cherysh of Rosamund, CA, great grandchildren; Camden Jodrie Robinson, Parker Marie Robinson, sister in law, Beverley Crossley of Auburn, ME and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Robert was predeceased by his siblings; Olivia Enman, Arthur Jodrie, and Janet Woodward, and brother-in-law Robert Young.

Per Robert’s wishes services will be private.
