Robert D. Levasseur

Mr. Robert D. Levasseur, 57, of 136 Bridge Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Thursday February 16, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Berlin, NH on May 5, 1948 the son of Roger and Mary (Ray) Levasseur and lived in Berlin for most of his life. He had been employed at Isaacson Structural Steel as a welding inspector for 33 years until illness forced his retirement. He was a member of the Ryan-Scammon Post # 36 American Legion and was Past Commander. He enjoyed his home, his cats and spending time with his friends at hunting camp. Members of the family include his wife Christina (Langley) Levasseur of Berlin, NH; his mother Mary (Ray) Levasseur of Gorham, NH; 2 sisters Mrs. Rene (Susan) Labrecque of Henrico, NC and Mrs. David (Ellen) Holt of Gorham, NH; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Roger Levasseur. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday February 21, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be at a later date. Anyone who wishes may make a donation in his memory to a charity of their choice.
