Robert A. Marshall

BERLIN, NH - Robert Arthur Marshall, 81, passed away on Monday evening September 2, 2013 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center. Mr. Marshall was born in Berlin on May 4, 1932 the son of Arthur Treamer and Mary Fisette. He was a graduate of Morse High School in Bath, ME. He moved back to Berlin many years ago. He worked as a welder for the Boilermaker Union. Robert had served four years in the US Navy and was stationed on the USS Midway on the flight deck. He was a member of the Fraternal order of Eagles and White Mountain Post 2520 VFW and was a past Commander of the Dupont - Holmes Post 82 American Legion in Gorham. Family members include his long time companion Theresa Beaudry of Berlin, his children Glen Marshall of Delaware, Sue Harper of Brunswick, ME and Steven Marshall of Wiscasset, ME, 4 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter Ruth Marshall. There are no calling hours. A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 28 at 11 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin.
