Rita C. Gagnon, 91, of Berlin, passed away on Thursday December 25, 2025 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born in Berlin on March 9, 1934 the daughter of Adelard J. and Eva D. (Letellier) Langevin and was a lifelong resident. She had been employed as an LPN at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital, the Berlin Public Schools at Brown School and Bartlett School, St. Vincent de Paul and lastly, as a visiting nurse for the City of Berlin. Rita was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and had served on the Board of Directors for Senior Meals.

Family includes her children Susan Griffin and husband Gene of Berlin, NH, Cheryl Bergeron and husband Rene of Lake Placid, FL, and Ann Marie Morin and husband Claude of West Milan, NH; grandchildren; Katy, Keith, Stefanie, Mary, Josee, and Abigail; 6 great grandchildren; sibling Helen Ramsey of Upton, MA; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Louis R. Gagnon and siblings; Raymond Langevin, Donald Langevin, Normand Langevin, Jeannette Tobin, Pauline Chevarie, Therese Gillespie, Irene Marsh, and Marguerite Pettingell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 9th, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
