BERLIN------- Rita C Arseneau 93, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 28th, 2026. Rita was born on May 29th, 1933 in Berlin. She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Mary (Genesse) Rochefort.

Rita grew up and spent most of her life in Berlin. She attended and graduated from Notre Dame High School. Rita worked as a nurse’s aide at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. Rita was heavily involved with the Snow Shoe Club in Berlin for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, camping, making crafts, knitting, and working around the house. Rita traveled throughout the country with her companion David Grantham in their motor home. In their travels they visited Las Vegas, Nova Scotia, and many other destinations. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends at camp in Errol, NH.

Rita is survived by her children Danny Arseneau and companion Alan Cooper of Errol, Marcel Arseneau Jr. and companion Althea L’Heroux of Milan, sister, Lucille Martin of Berlin and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 at 1:00pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Berlin. Interment will follow in St. Anne Cemetery.
