Richard "Satch" Bilodeau

Richard “Satch” R. Bilodeau, 84, of Errol, NH, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 4, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Berlin, NH on May 20, 1939 the son of Laurent and Annette (Pepin) Bilodeau and had lived in Berlin and Errol. He had been employed as a boiler operator for Crown Vantage and retired 22 years ago. Richard was a Bonhomme, Pepere and Grand Pepere. He enjoyed carpentry and built 3 homes. He loved his home in Errol and also loved the water. Richard also enjoyed gardening and loved gathering, cutting, chopping and stacking wood. He was the best provider and grandfather, giving each of his grandchildren their own nickname. He loved his Ti-cou.

Family includes his wife Yvette (Coulombe) Bilodeau of Errol, NH; children Paula Bilodeau of Errol, NH, Colleen Poulin of Berlin, NH, Daniel Bilodeau of Concord, NH, Peter Bilodeau and wife Lois of Westbrook, ME and Greg Bilodeau and fiancée Christina Zornio of Gorham, NH; grandchildren Sarah Lundgren and partner Joshua Buteau of Berlin, NH, Mathew Lundren and wife Michaela of Cape Coral, FL, Erica Poulin of Worcester, MA, Marissa Poulin of Apex, NC, Joshua Poulin of Auburn, ME, Mia McCallum and partner Liz Carnell of Portland, ME, Dylan Bilodeau of Westbrook, ME, Megan Bilodeau of Rochester, NH, Greyson Bilodeau of Berlin, NH and Kristian Bilodeau of Berlin, NH; great grandchildren Colton Dube of Berlin, NH, Connor Dube of Berlin, NH, Rylie Buteau of Berlin, NH and another one on the way; brother-in-law Paul Coulombe of Gorham, NH and sister-in-law Dorothy Bilodeau of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Laurent A. “Satch” Bilodeau.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 13, 2023 at 11 AM at St. Pius Catholic Church in Errol, NH. Interment will follow in the St. Pius Cemetery in Errol. There will be no calling hours.
