Richard Lutz

Richard David Lutz, a lifelong resident of Gorham passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was 29.

Born on December 30, 1984 in Berlin, NH, he was the son of Katherine Lutz and Ronald Washburn.

Richard attended Gorham Schools and was a 2003 Graduate of Gorham High School. At age 11, he was a State Bowling Champion. While in High School, he played basketball & baseball.

He was employed seasonally as a guide at the Mt. Washington Auto Road Museum. He had a lifelong knowledge of the history and mountains of our area.

His past times included playing co-ed softball and he was a lead singer in a local heavy metal band.

He loved to fish and be outdoors. His biggest love was his family and he most loved & cherished his little boy Zayden. Richard also leaves many good friends including his lifelong friend Rick Tuttle.

Richard will be missed by everyone and his family which includes his son Zayden Lutz,

His mother Katherine Lutz and her companion Brian Lariviere of Gorham, his father Ronald Washburn of Berlin, sister Crystal Lutz and her son Wyatt of Gorham, brothers Donnie Corrigan of Berlin, Rick Corrigan, Jr, of Littleton, and Shawn and Jason Corrigan of Georgia, maternal grandmother Peggy Corrigan of Gorham, Aunts Barbara Lutz of Gorham and Doreen Washburn of Berlin, and Uncles David Lutz of Berlin, and Steve Lutz of Gorham. Several cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10am Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Holy Family Church, Church Street, Gorham, NH. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses c/o Katherine Lutz Corrigan, 3 Wight Street, Gorham, NH 03581.
