Richard G. Laflamme, Jr.

 Richard G. Laflamme, Jr., 75, of Jasper St., Berlin, passed away on Thursday June 6, 2024 at his home. He was born in Berlin on May 17, 1949 the son of the late Richard G. Laflamme, Sr and Elaine (Lemelin) Laflamme and was raised in Dummer. He attended school in Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School in 1967. He received his Associates Degree from the NH-Vo Tech in Berlin in 1969. Richard served in the US Navy from September of 1969-June 1973. He worked in many mills across the country for 40 years and retired in 2011. Richard was a ham radio operator, enjoyed fly fishing, camping, traveling, and boar hunting. He had a passion for cooking and loved sharing food with everyone.

Family includes his wife Deborah (Kelly) Laflamme of Berlin, NH; children Bridget Laflamme of Berlin, NH, Jason Laflamme of North Conway, NH, Amy Cote and significant other Cyrus Glover of Berlin, NH, Christopher Laflamme and wife Jessalyn of Berlin, NH and Derek Laflamme and wife Lindsey of Cove, TX; grandchildren Cameron, Mason, Leigha, Abby, Aedin, Ian, and Amelia; siblings Elaine “Bunny” Sweatt of Errol, NH and her companion David Shallow of Stewartstown, NH, Arthur “Butch” Laflamme of Berlin, NH and Michael Laflamme, Sr. of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Jasper.  He was predeceased by his son-in-law Scott Cote, his brother-in-law Ralph Sweatt and his sister-in-law Jeanne Laflamme.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 9-10 AM, prior to the service.
