Rene E. Thibault Sr.

Rene E. Thibault Sr., 85 born in Berlin, N.H. and one time Hingham, Ma. resident passed away Wednesday evening June 21, at his home in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Ever energetic, with a huge smile and a welcoming greeting, Mr. Thibault will be remembered as a warm, fun-loving father, grandfather and son. A 2nd Lieutenant in WWII, Rene was a bombardier/navigator on B29s. He married his high school sweetheart, Pauline Cloutier. He owned and operated Reisner Cleaners in Berlin for 15 years while being active in the community and church. He later settled in Hingham, MA to be near his sons family. Never one to be idle, Rene created a thriving home maintenance, repair and masonry business in Hingham and had many loyal customers. He was a constant loving figure in his familys life even after his relocation and retirement to Florida in 1994. A bridge enthusiast, he never turned down an opportunity to play in his leisure time. He is survived by his beloved son, Rene, daughter-in-law Ellen and their children Adam, Michael and Ariel Thibault of Hingham MA. He is also survived by a sister, Annette Porter of Naples Maine, as well as several nieces, nephews and their families. SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held in Berlin, New Hampshire at the Bryant Funeral Home on Friday, July 7th from 7 to 9 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin on Saturday July 8th at 9am with interment following at St. Annes Cemetery.
