Priscilla (Berube) Desilets

Berlin, NH

Priscilla R. Desilets passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Coos County Nursing Home where she has spent the past seven years. She was 97 years old.

Born in Berlin on January 3, 1920 she was the daughter of Dr. Alexandre and Antoinette (LeBlond) Berube. She attended St. Regis Academy and Berlin High School, graduating in 1937. Priscilla was a communicant of St Anne Parish. She worked at Morrison Cleaners, WT Grant as a cashier and did clerical work for a government agency.

Priscillas greatest love was her family; she always enjoyed attending family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. During her time at Coos County Nursing Home she enjoyed participating in activities, especially Bingo.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard; a son-in-law Ronald Poirier; her siblings, Armand Berube, Laurier Berube, Yvette Valliere, Florence Donnelly, Doris Carrier, Estelle Desilets, Simonne Boulanger, Rudolph Berube, Lorraine Pike, Claire Wilkins and Gisele Levesque.

She leaves behind her son Richard Desilets and wife Louise of Lakeland, FL; two daughters , Jane Poirier of Berlin and Claudette Enman and husband Blair of Rutland, VT; five grandchildren, Brian Desilets and companion Amy Galipeau, Karen Ouellette and husband Carl, Michael Desilets and wife Sybil, Christopher Enman and wife Kirsten, and Thomas Enman and companion Vanessa; six great grandchildren, Hunter, Jacob, Haley, Ellie, Caleb and Samuel; she also leaves behind two sisters Marcelle Benz of Ocala, FL and Jacqueline Bergeron of West Lebanon, NH; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 1:00pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held prior to the service on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH from 11:00am to 12:30pm.
