Paul R. Morency

After a long hard battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Mr. Paul R. Morency, 55, passed away on July 5, 2023. Paul managed his sickness with strength & grace. He never gave up, nor did he show signs of weakness. Paul had a heart of gold and despite his own health, always wanted to know how others were doing. He had a zest for life & enjoyed a good laugh, and he never lost his sense of humor. Paul was a hard worker, who took great pride in everything he did. Paul was extremely knowledgeable, and there wasn’t much he couldn’t build, fix or repair. Throughout his life he worked in a variety fields, eventually specializing in concrete and construction work before his health declined.

Paul had a passion for speed & spent many years racing cars & camping with his family & friends. Paul had a love for German Shepards & will be missed greatly by his buddy, Max. Paul cherished the relationship he had with his daughter, Amber Morency, who, as he describes her to be, "the best daughter ever". The two had an unbreakable bond & he will be missed dearly.

Paul is also survived by his daughter Amber Morency and fiancé Blake Donato of Shelburne; his mother Carmen Morency of Berlin; his best friend Brenda Morency of Berlin; his brothers Patrick Morency and Peter Morency and wife Denise, both of Berlin; nieces: Shayna Baptiste, Maranda Morency, Christina Morency and Mariah Morency; several great nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his father Jean Paul “JP” Morency.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 5-7pm at the Bryant & Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. A Prayer Service will take place promptly at 7pm. Paul will be buried with his father JP in a private ceremony at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
