Olivette Bisson

Olivette Bisson of Sioux City,IA, formerly of Gorham, NH died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at a Sioux City hospital in Sioux City Iowa.

Olivette was born Oct. 8, 1923 the daughter of Peter and Georgiana (Blanchette) Frechette in Berlin, NH. Olivette attended Catholic grade school and high school in Berlin. Olivette married Maurice Bisson 4/19/1947. Maurice died June 26,2007.

Survivors include stepson Richard and his wife Margaret. Brother, Roland and Joan Frechette. Grandchildren: Richard and his wife Paola, Kevin and his wife Tammy, and Tracie and her sons, Troy and Nick. Stepgranddaughters: Dawn and Joe III and their children Joe IV and Pamala, Pamala and Lynn. Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Arthur and his wife Yvette Frechette. Sisters, Florence and her husband Bernard Pilotte and Irene and her husband Roland Lagasse. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday August 28, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Sioux City Iowa. Father Merlin Schrad officiating. Lector: Ann Schultz. Organist: Carolyn Price, Cantor and soloist: Kevin Keane. Iowa arrangements were by Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Sioux City Iowa. A committal service will be held at 1:30PM on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Holy Family Cemetery on Church Street in Gorham, NH with Reverend Mark Dollard officiating Local Arrangements are by Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin.
