Normand Sevigny, 63, of Dummer, passed away peacefully at home after facing an unexpected illness with strength and courage. Born on March 30, 1963 in Berlin, the son of Gerard and Claire Sevigny, Normand was a graduate of Berlin High School class of 1983. He earned his commercial driver’s license while in high school. Normand was a man of many talents, operating heavy equipment, driving truck and operating Sevigny Trucking (est. 1992). He also worked with his best friend, Mike Gagne, in the logging industry for many years. Normand could fix just about anything and his mechanical abilities were sought after by his friends and family. He took great pride in custom painting vehicles, with several of his projects going on to become prize-winning cars.

Normand married the love of his life, Nona, in 2008, and together they built a life filled with love and countless memories. Normand had a passion for snowmobiling, motorcycles, motor sports, and spending time enjoying the outdoors. He was a man you could always count on; someone who was always there whenever friends and family needed him. He was strong-willed and always true to who he was. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Normand is survived by his wife, Nona; his stepdaughter Kady Weaknecht and husband Jordan, and stepson Michael Doucette and wife Hillary; grandchildren Wayne, Ruthie, Rohan, and Rhett; his sisters Jeanna Riendeau and husband Roland, Joanne Parent and husband Michael, and Nancy Guay and husband Jeff; his mother-in-law, Patricia Holt; his “adopted son” Jake Forbush and his wife Amy, with whom he had a very special relationship; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless friends, too many to mention. He was predeceased by his parents, Jerry and Claire Sevigny; Rita Hisman; and father-in-law, Wayne Holt.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 11:30 AM at St. Anne Cemetery, Berlin. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Home of Berlin, NH. Memories and condolences may be shared online at bryantcares.com
