Nathan R. Accardi

September 10, 1992 — November 29, 2025

Berlin, NH

Nathan Robert Accardi, 33, of Berlin, New Hampshire, passed away, unexpectedly leaving behind a family and a community of friends who will forever feel the loss of his bright and loving presence. Born on September 10, 1992, Nathan was the beloved son of Lise and Joseph Accardi, and the cherished brother of Meagan Nelson and brother-in-law of Eric Nelson. He graduated from Berlin High School in 2010 and attended the University of New England. He was a self-employed contractor who subbed with other contractors. He was a meticulous carpenter and proud of his craft.

From an early age, Nathan carried with him a deep passion for the things he loved. Hockey was one of his first joys–whether he was on the ice, in the stands, or talking excitedly about a game, the sport was woven into the fabric of who he was. His love of sports also included golf. He enjoyed the challenge of the game but mostly appreciated the fun and friendship that came with every moment spent on the course beside those he loved.

But above all, what defined Nathan most was his extraordinary heart. He had a rare and remarkable way of making others feel genuinely valued, seen, and loved. His kindness was not just something that he showed–it was something that he lived. Anyone who knew Nathan felt the warmth of his compassion, the sincerity in his words, and the comfort of his presence. He had a gift for connection, a natural ability to make someone’s day better simply by being himself.

Family includes his maternal grandmother Lorraine Lachapelle of Berlin, NH; his uncles Mark Lachapelle and wife Jennifer of Gilford, NH, and Paul Lachapelle and wife Diana of Stratham, NH; his aunts Gail Lachapelle of Edgartown, MA, and Joanne Accardi of Waltham, MA; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Robert Lachapelle, his paternal grandparents, John and Jeannette Accardi, and an aunt Jennie Robichaud.

Nathan’s family takes solace in knowing how deeply he touched others and how many lives were made brighter by his short time here. His memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love he so freely gave.

He will be missed beyond measure and forever held in the hearts of those who loved him.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, on Monday, December 8th, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 PM.
