Michelle Diane Balch

TILTON------- Michelle Diane Balch, 43, passed away after a long illness surrounded by friends and family on Thursday, March 12th, 2026 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

Michelle was born on July 2nd, 1982 in Concord. She was the daughter of Thomas and Christine (Crowther) McHugh.

Michelle attended Coe Brown Northwood Academy. She enjoyed the beach, fishing, going to concerts, and attending family cook outs. Michelle loved going to her church and spending time with her best friend Cyrus.

Michelle is survived by her daughter Isabelle McHugh of Gorham, son Isaiah Prentice of Pennsylvania, parents Thomas McHugh and Christine McHugh of Gorham, sister Cherrie Murray of Manchester, brothers; Tim McHugh of Landaff, and Kyle McHugh of Franklin, IN, significant other Preston Haverst of Littleton, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Michelle at a later date.

The family suggests donations be made in Michelle’s memory to the Bryant Funeral Home 180 Hillside Ave. Berlin, NH 03570 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
