Michel R. Plourde

Michel R. Plourde, 71, of Berlin, passed away on Monday December 15, 2025 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH. He was born in Berlin on October 15, 1954 the son of the late Roland and Juliette (Gagnon) Plourde and spent most of his life here. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1972. Michel was employed as a welder for Lyons Iron Works and later for Isaacson Structural Steel. He lastly worked for Tri-County CAP. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree and a member of Good Shepherd Parish, where he was a daily communicant. He played hockey in his younger years for Guardian Angel and the J. V. team for BHS. He liked to hunt and fish. For many years, he was “Driving Miss Daisey” for his mother and his aunt on Sundays, taking them out to eat.

Family includes his children Toby Plourde and wife Anna of Gorham, ME and Tansi Leblanc and husband Andy of Gorham, NH; grandchildren Avery and AJ; siblings Ronald Plourde and wife Susan of St. Charles, MO, Gerard Plourde and wife Kathy of Council Bluffs, IA, Denis Plourde and wife Pauline of Milan, NH, Claude Plourde and wife Vickie of Milan, NH, Lucie Remillard of Berlin, NH, Rachel Bonfini and husband Franco of Yarmouth, MA, Gisele Lemieux and husband Maurice of Gorham, NH and Richard Plourde and wife Nicole of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Diane Fortier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday December 22, 2025 at 1 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in St. Anne Cemetery. Per Michel’s request, there will be no calling hours. Donations in his memory may be made to the St. Anne Campaign, 151 Emery St., Berlin, NH, 03570.
