Michael G. (Mike) Vashaw, 65, of Main Street Gorham passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at his home in Gorham following a period of declining health.

Mike was born on May 23, 1947 in Berlin, NH.

Mike was employed as a laborer at the Flock Mill in Claremont, NH.

Mike enjoyed going for rides and the outdoors.

He is survived by his longtime companion Jane Hastings of Gorham, a daughter Vickie Viens of Berlin, three grandsons: Joshua Haley, Kaleb Viens, and Dalton Viens; a brother Kenneth Vashaw of Berlin and a sister Sandra Belanger of Berlin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday June 29, 2012 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will be at Milan Cemetery at a later date.

Calling hours will be held Thursday evening June 28 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH., using the School Street entrance.
