Melvin R. Christopher

Melvin R. Christopher, 74, of Berlin, NH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 5, 2022. He was born in Holyoke, MA on June 1, 1947 the son of the late Melvin and Mae (Sugden) Christopher. He was a graduate of Westfield State College in Massachusetts and was a dedicated Production Superintendent for Parsons Paper in Holyoke, MA for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family at Hampton Beach. Mel was an avid sports fan and collector of Yankees memorabilia. His family and friends will especially miss his well-known sense of humor.



He is survived by his son Tony Christopher, Sr. and wife Jessica, son James Christopher, daughter Amanda Christopher, former wife Helen Christopher and he was a proud Poppy to 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.



A Celebration of Mel’s Life will take place at the convenience of his family. Those who wish may make donations in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
