Maxine E. Dube

Maxine E. Dube, 101, of Berlin, passed away on October 19, 2022, at the St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home. She was born in Berlin on July 31, 1921, the daughter of Leo and Beatrice (Simpson) Gendron. Maxine was a graduate of the Berlin High School class of 1939, and had lived most of her life in the area. Prior to her retirement, Maxine was employed as a stitcher at the Converse Rubber Company for a total of 21 years.

Family includes her sons Robert Tennis of San Antonio, TX and James Tennis of Dummer, NH; daughter Sandra Tennis of Berlin; step-son Gary Dube of Berlin; step-daughters Sharon Stephenson of Milan, and Sue Gingras of Exeter, NH; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and step-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Roland “Flash” Dube and 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Services will be private. In accordance with Maxine’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery.
