Maurice L. Pelchat

Maurice L. Pelchat, 83, of Berlin, passed away on August 10, 2022 at his home. He was born in Berlin on June 18, 1939, the son of Laurier and Cecile (Gilbert) Pelchat. He married his wife, Janice Pelchat, on April 30, 1960, and was a lifelong resident of the area.



Prior to his retirement, Maurice owned and operated the Langis Shoe Store of Berlin, as well as the Lancaster Shoe Store. He also built and repaired many homes in Berlin, along with his wife Janice. Maurice was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, and a former member of the Berlin Kiwanis Club.



Family includes his wife, Janice Pelchat of Berlin; sister, Doris Cusson and husband Norman of Berlin; and nieces and nephews.
