 Maurice James "Moe" Bourassa of Western Avenue died Sunday (September 1, 2013) at his home following a period of declining health. He was 91. 
 Born on April 27, 1922 in Cascade, he was the son of Peter E. and Delphine (Lebel) Bourassa. 
 A lifelong resident of Gorham, he was a 1940 graduate of Gorham High School. 
 He served in the US Army and then served in the US Navy as a jet mechanic and machinist. His service career spanned more than 24 years. 
 Moe was a devoted communicant of St. Joseph's Parish now known as St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd in Berlin. 
 He was a member of the US Navy Fleet Association. 
 Besides his parents, he is predeceased by four brothers: Joseph Bourassa, Maurice Bourassa, Gerard Bourassa and Alfred Bourassa and two sisters: Helen Bourassa and Marie Jeanne Koch. 
 He is survived by several friends. 
 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Friday, September 6 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery in Gorham. 
 Calling hours will be held from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm Thursday Sept 5 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St, Berlin, NH.
