Mary Sqrulloni

Mary J. M. Sgrulloni, a former resident of York Street, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin following a period of declining health. She was 96.

Born on February 6, 1918 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Guiseppe J. and Michelina M. (Parruccini) Sgrulloni.

A lifelong resident of Berlin, Mary was a communicant of St. Kieran's Church now known as St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish and Marie-Rivier Association and the Alter Guild.

In earlier years, she held a variety of jobs including Woolworths and the Holiday Center. She was a homemaker and was known to grow a big garden, canned vegetables, knitting and crocheting.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by her entire immediate family and her youngest daughter Cecilia Valerie Nault.

She leaves two daughters Ruth Boisvert and Eleanor Woodward both of Berlin, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm Friday, March 28th in the parlor of Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Berlin.

Calling hours will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, March 27th at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home.
