Mary Jane Lacroix

Mary Jane (Gonya) LaCroix, 82, of Berlin, NH passed away on Friday March 7, 2008 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. She was born in Berlin, NH on Feb. 21, 1926 the daughter of Edmund and Lidia Anna (Ells) Gonya. She had lived in Hartford, CT for many years and returned to Berlin in the late 1980s. Mary Jane had worked part time for St. Luke Medical Center in Berlin. She loved nature, animals, especially cats, the arts, literature, music and theatre. Members of the family include her daughter Anne LaCroix of New Britain, CT; a sister Nancy Fox of Virginia; three nephews John Fox of Virginia, Jay Fox of Colorado and Robert Cecil of Maryland; and cousins including Barbara Ellis and Betty Domino, both of Berlin, NH. SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to an Animal Shelter of ones choice in her memory. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Home.
