Martha L. Veazey

Martha Louise Veazey, 91, of Berlin and formerly of Gorham, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2020 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Berlin. She was born in Cascade on December 28, 1928, the daughter of the late Aurele Joseph and Diana Marie (Pigeon) Bolduc. Martha graduated Notre Dame High School and was employed in the office of the Brown Company, Globe Shopping Center and the Brabo Motel. She was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Parish, VFW Auxiliary, Gorham Fire Department Auxiliary and the St. Benedict’s Women’s club. Martha was a devoted grandmother and spent a great deal of time taking care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, especially mystery novels, quilting, sewing, being in the company of good friends, playing cards and traveling.





Members of her family include her husband of 71 years Donald A. Veazey of Berlin; son Daniel Veazey and wife Lisa of Gorham; daughter Janet Nadeau and husband Maurice of Gorham; 5 grandchildren Jennifer Veazey Swinehart and husband Jerod, Sarah Robertson and husband Mike, Shawn Nadeau and companion Heather Pierson, Jonathan Veazey, and Brian Veazey and companion Nicole Peare; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter Kathy Veazey, a son Donald A. Veazey, Jr., a sister Imelda Baillargeon, and a brother Lawrence Bolduc.





A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2020 at 1 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery, Gorham. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 12 to 1 PM, prior to the service.
