Marie "Rena" Alonzo

 Marie “Rena” Alonzo, 93, of Gorham, passed away on December 3, 2024. She was born in Gorham on July 5, 1931, the daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Madeleine) Heath. Rena was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Gorham High School, where she played basketball. She worked at Woolworth’s as a cashier for several years. Rena was artistic and highly creative. A talented sewer with a love of embroidery, she made costumes for Theatre North for many years.

Family includes her daughter Bianca Scott and husband Russell of Gorham; granddaughter Tia Trubia and husband Joseph of Marshfield, MA; great-grandchildren Quinn, Avery, and Jackson Trubia; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio Alonzo.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 25, 2025 at 1 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham. Interment will follow in the Lary Cemetery, Gorham.
