Louis L. Savard

Louis L. Savard, 67, of Milan, passed away Monday morning November 24, 2014, at the Androscoggin Hospital in Berlin. Mr. Savard was born in Rumford, ME on June 30, 1947, a son of William and Adeline (Cayouette) Savard , and was a graduate of Stephens High School and was a lifelong resident of Maine and New Hampshire. He served in the U.S. Army and with the Army National Guard, retiring after 20 years. Louis worked for Sherwin Williams, Caron Building Center and also for Pulp and Paper of America. He was a member of the Milan Fire Dept. and was a Forest Fire Deputy Warden in the town of Milan. Family members include his wife Anita (Allen) Savard of Milan, sons James Bilodeau of Berlin and Peter Savard of Milan, 5 grandchildren , 3 step grandchildren, a brother Jean Savard of Machias, ME, a sister Marguerite Stone of Arlington, VA, nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother William Savard and a sister Louise Savard. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday June 30, 2016 at 2 PM at St. Anne Cemetery in Berlin.
