Berlin, NH

Lillian Mary (Hart) Osgood departed for Glory on May 6, 2025 at Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin, NH surrounded by those who loved her, She was born on February 12, 1935 in North Paris, ME to Inez May (Estes) Hart and Arthur C. Hart.

Lillian married Francis (Frank) Osgood Jr and raised two children, Debra (Osgood) Page and David Osgood. She and her husband shared a faithful marriage of over sixty-three years until Frank passed away in May of 2015.

While she never worked outside the home, Lillian lovingly poured herself into her children and later did the same with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As a mother she rode bikes with her children when they were young and walked to town to play ball when they were teenagers. She welcomed them with her presence when they returned home from school.

She enjoyed her many trips to Maine to see family, and loved sharing stories about her memories there.

After her husband’s passing Lillian spent eight of her remaining years as a resident of Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin, NH. She developed dear relationships with the staff and residents and was affectionately nicknamed, “Lilly-bug”.

Lillian was loved by all those who knew her and was known for her keen ability to chat.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Francis Osgood Jr.; her daughter, Darlene; her sister, Priscilla Currier; her brother, Warren Hart; her son-in-law, David Page; and many other loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Debbie) Page; her son, David Osgood and daughter-in-law, Lise (Guerin) Osgood; her grandchildren, Vikki (Page) Dalton and husband, Robert Dalton Jr, Genie (Page) Snyder and husband, Nathan Snyder, Jason Osgood and wife, Michelle, and Cory Osgood and wife Jordan; her great-grandchildren, Michael Dalton and wife, Gabby, Andrew Dalton, Jesse Dalton, Jonah Tardif, Maizy Tardif, Melody Tardif, Haley Osgood, and Anthony Osgood; and great-great grandchildren, Kaylynn Dalton and Mykah Dalton; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be visiting hours on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 3-5 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH and a funeral service on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Baptist Church at 13 Exchange St. in Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the Russian Cemetery.
