Berlin, NH

Leo J. Roger, 67, of Berlin, passed away peacefully at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital on December 15, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born on November 25, 1958 to Narcisse and Imelda (Cyr) Roger and lived in Berlin all of his life. Leo graduated from Berlin High School Class of 1976 and attended White Mountain Community College, graduating with a degree in Business Management. Leo started working at Rousseau’s IGA during high school then worked for Butson’s Supermarket as the Dairy & Frozen Food Manager, always happy helping customers find special items on their grocery list. Customers enjoyed his smile and engaging personality. He later worked for White Mountain Distributors, where he often talked about the many wonderful people he met during his deliveries.

Leo spent many summers camping at surrounding campgrounds like The Lantern, White Birches Camping Park and Jefferson Campground, entertaining friends and family. He always enjoyed cooking and grilling, making sure there was plenty of food for everyone to enjoy, with leftovers to share. During the off season, Leo was a true Patriots fan, having the opportunity to attend a few games. He followed Bruins hockey as well. He continued his love of cooking, preparing many crockpot meals to share with family and neighbors.

He is survived by his brother Richard and wife Del and his sister Suzanne Shevlin; nieces Nicole and husband Justin, Angela, Sophia and Nova; great niece Ava and great nephews Owen and Grayson and close friends Ron Lafrance and Brian (Hoodie) Hood. He was predeceased by his parents Narcisse and Imelda.
