Lena L (Rabida) Chauvette

Lena L. (Rabida) Chauvette passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was 95 years old.



Born in Berlin, NH, on September 13, 1922 she was the daughter of Napoleon and Celina (Nolin) Rabida. She was married to Onesime Chauvette and together they raised two children. She worked as a stitcher at Granite State Rubber Company. She was a communicant of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.



Lena enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and listening to music. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.



Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Onesime in 1974; a daughter Ann Marie Daigle; a great-grandson Braxton Mortensen and several brothers and sisters.



She leaves behind her son Roger Chauvette and wife Evelena of Groveton; grandchildren, Roger, Randy, Lorenda, Morenda, Peter and Julia and husband Joseph; great-grandchildren, Ashalyn, Karli, Lennox, McKayla, Kiera, and Brennan; a sister Dora Montminy; a son-in-law Raymond Daigle; nephew Leo Montminy, nieces Anita Christie and Donna Tallarita and a special friend Julie Bonnano.



Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 11:00am-12:30pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH 03570.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 1:00pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be at a later date at the Calvary Cemetery.
