Laurette Couture

Laurette Couture, 94, of Gorham, NH, passed away on Sunday July 7, 2024 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. She was born in Stoke, PQ, Canada on March 8, 1930 the daughter of Gregoire and Annette (Delorme) Pinard and has resided most of her life in the United States. She had been employed as a nurse’s aide at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home, the St. Louis Hospital, and cared for the elderly doing private duty care. Laurette was a member of Holy Family Church and enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, quilting, cooking for her family, and caring for her grandchildren. 

Family includes her children Sylvie Blair of Berlin, NH, and Steve Couture and wife Sue of Berlin, NH; grandchildren Gregory Blair of Gorham, NH, Christine Blair of Milan, NH, Tyler Couture of Berlin, NH, and Turner Couture of Berlin, NH; 5 great-grandchildren Aidan Blair, Declan Blair, Jasper Couture, Forist Couture, and Clay Couture; step-grandchildren Danya Gurtler of PA and Kirstin Taylor of Berlin, NH; sister Pierrette Couture of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Rosario E. Couture.
