Obituary

Laura went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2026. This date was predestined on the day He created her. After graduating in 1970 from Gorham High School, she worked at the Lancaster Veterinary Hospital for seven years. Her last seven years of employment were spent at the Coos County Nursing Home. In between, she worked for her family at the Yokohama Restaurant. All work she felt called by God to do at those times of her life. Each, in their own way, were a blessing for her.

Laura is survived by a son Bradford Anderson; her brother Mike Eastman; her sister Lynn (Michel) Tremblay; “chosen” daughters and families Valerie (Bob) Fauteux and Heather (John) Holt; grandchildren Ryan (Melinda) and Brady (Monique) Fauteux, Aaron and Ivy Schryba and Harry, Patrick and Marie Holt; great grandchildren Remy and Evelynn Fauteux and best friends Butch and Marion Rexford and Ira and Louise Holt. She was predeceased by her husband and best friend Samuel J. Towle, her son C. Wade Anderson, her parents Charles and Tazuru Eastman and her biological father, Norman Hickey.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday June 29, 2026 at 10 AM at the Word of God Christian Church in Dummer. Private Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Milan. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham, on Sunday evening from 5 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Word of God Christian Church, Hill Rd, Dummer, NH, 03588, the Unity Christian School, 593 Sullivan St., Berlin, NH, 03570 or do a random act of kindness-It’s the gift that keeps on giving while coming back to you as well.
