Kathryn M. Dube, 78, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Concord Hospital after a prolonged illness. She was born in Berlin, NH on October 13,1947, and was the daughter of Philip K. Ross, II and Ellen (Libby) Ross. Kathryn attended Gorham Schools and was a graduate of GHS in 1965.
Kathy married Ron in 1968 at the Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH, spending 58 years together. Early in their marriage Kathy and Ron built their first home on Milan Hill, where they raised their family over the course of the next 20 years. Later in life they built their forever home in Gorham on the banks of the Peabody River, enjoying returning to her quaint hometown and close knit community.
She was an avid sports fan, and never missed one of her children’s or grandchildren’s games even if it meant driving late into the night from the far reaches of rural New England to return after an away game. She also enjoyed the family gatherings to watch professional sports, including annual trips to Fenway to see her beloved Red Sox. She was a devout Catholic often having to travel great distances, including crossing Richardson Lake by boat from the Dube family camp at Upper Dam to attend mass. Kathyrn was an avid outdoors woman and loved to travel. She enjoyed spending her time outside skiing, hiking, boating, and canoeing.
Family includes her husband, Ronald R. Dube of Gorham, NH; her children include her sons Stephen Dube of Manchester, NH, Nathan Dube and wife Lindsay of Greenland, NH, daughter Jennifer Corrigan of Shelburne, NH; Grandchildren Aiden Corrigan and wife Olivia of Shelburne, NH, Gavin Corrigan of Shelburne, NH; siblings include Karen Corcoran and husband Rick of Ocala, FL, Philip K. Ross III of Gorham, NH; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Memorial Donations can be made to the Gorham Recreation Department to support local youth sporting activities.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 27,2026 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Church, Gorham. Calling Hours will be on Friday, June 26,2026 from 6 to 8 pm at Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade Street, Gorham. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
