Kathleen A. Powers

Kathleen A. Powers, 72, of Berlin, passed away on Monday May 11, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Hartford, CT on October 28, 1953 the daughter of the late Walter J. and Lorraine G. (Kilby) Koziba and was educated in Connecticut schools. She lived in Huntington, MA, prior to moving to Berlin in 2019. Kathleen liked knitting, doing digital arts, sewing, acrylic painting and arts.

Family includes her husband Steven W. Powers of Berlin, NH; her children Michael Powers and wife Pranee of Berin, NH, Christina Curtiner of Berlin, NH and Carolyn Powers of North Conway, NH; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her siblings Richard Koziba of Berlin, NH and Laurie Greene of Jamestown, NY.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 18, 2026 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will be in the Hillside City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5-8 PM. Donations in Kathleen’s memory may be made to either St. Jude Children’s Foundation or to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
