Jeffrey D. Penney

Mr. Jeffrey D. Penney, 48, of Covina, CA passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 30, 2005. He was born in Berlin, NH on April 23, 1957 the son of David T. and Beverly L. (Blair) Penney. Mr. Penney grew up in Gorham, NH and graduated from Gorham High School in 1975. He was an avid musician and fisherman, enjoyed the warmth of family and friends and had a great sense of humor. He was employed as a professional DJ in Boston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles and previously worked for WMOU in Berlin. He was a founding member of the rock group Malpractice and was a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Members of his family include his wife Tanya Penney of Little Rock, CA; three children David Penney, Tayan Penney and Kiara Penney all of Little Rock, CA; his mother Beverly Penney of Gorham; three sisters Sharon Penney of Franconia, NH, Cara Penney of Gorham, and Jane Legere and her husband Ron of Gorham; one brother Daniel Penney and his wife Susan of Gorham; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre deceased by his father David Penney in 1986. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated on Thursday Sept. 8, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH. Interment will be in the Lary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM on Wednesday at the Bryant Funeral Home 1 Promenade Street, Gorham, NH.
