Jeannine A. Marcou

Jeannine A. Marcou, 94, of Gorham, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Berlin on October 4, 1930 the daughter of Eusube and Marie (Corbeil) St. Onge and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and the VFW Auxiliary Post #2520. Jeannine was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and enjoyed going out with family and friends. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Family includes her children Barbara Brouillette and significant other Alain Martin of Berlin, NH and Jeff Marcou and wife Cindy of Dummer, NH; grandchildren Zachary and wife Shelby, Jordan, Brady, Taylor, Paige, Sarah, Shelley and Jeff; sister Estelle Chevarie of Berlin, NH and Lucienne Fontaine of Berlin, NH; sister-in-law Margaret “Peggy” Dalphonse of Cascade-Gorham, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Leo Marcou in 2005.

Interment will take place privately at St. Kieran Cemetery, Berlin. Those who wish, may make donations in her memory to Coos County Nursing Home Activities Fund, PO Box 416, Berlin, NH 03570. Arrangements are entrusted to Bryant Funeral Homes & Crematory, Berlin and Gorham, NH.
